Delhi is situated in the heart of an extraordinarily diverse country, India. Now that you have started your day spiritually and with wholesome blessings, its time to explore the fun parts of delhi and explore its beauty and get to know about the rich history of delhi. There are several places that you can visit to know about the Mughal era of Delhi, you can start by visiting Qutub minar in Mehrauli, whose construction was begun by Qutub ud-din Aibak but completed by his son in law, Illtutmish, this is a beautiful, tall monument with verses written on it. After this you can visit Humayun’s tomb, in nizammuddin,there you can see the burial process that these Mughals used to follow, its this beautiful tomb, which was earlier surrounded by ponds and lakes which have now dried up. One of the most magnificent forts in delhi, is situated in tughlaqabad, known as the tughlaqabad fort, built by Ghiassuddin Tughlaq, you can literally see the barren land completely destroyed and the land which is still flourishing with trees with pink flowers, only separated by a wall, its a beautiful sight to have. While doing all this you can always have street food which is delightful.now lets visit the one thing that dellhi is majorly known for, RED FORT, built by emperor Shah Jahan in 1639,relocating the Mughal capital from agra to delhi, he was later imprisoned by his own son, Aurangzeb for the succession of throne.
